From October 2003 through February 2009, he served as Vice President with one of the Company’s subsidiaries. Prior to that he was a founding member and Vice President of Development of MedCap Properties LLC, a real estate company located in Nashville, Tennessee that owned, operated and developed real estate in the healthcare field. HCP acquired MedCap Properties LLC in October 2003.
Mr. Hulme has over 28 years of medical building development expertise, having been involved in the development of more than 100 medical properties including hospitals, medical office buildings, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities during his career. In addition to these achievements, he has had oversight responsibilities for the development of more than five million square feet of medical office and outpatient ancillary facility development, with a value exceeding $1B.
